Got a car yesterday… gotta keep expectations low…
Wut?
This initially confused me.
After a quick examination of the packaging for the advent calendar, I was able to confirm that this was a Xmas tree bauble.
Why not?
I didn’t think of any terribly smart way to integrate the (relatively) gigantic Xmas tree decoration into my Gaslands terrain, so I simply based it like I did the cone, tyres, sleigh etc and left it at that.
A sudden and pretty intense fever that left me thrashing around in a sweaty bed hundreds of miles from home prevented me from blogging yesterday (I literally couldn’t even manage to take off my shoes for several hours: it was pretty intense), which is hugely irritating from my perspective because I missed a day FFS, but regardless…

I still have a throbbing headache, but the disorientation and other nasty symptoms are gone now. It seems to be the one or two day novovirus that is going around, rather than the flu which would have done the same thing to me for a fortnight, so that’s something at least.
#18 in this series (up within the hour I hope) fits with the general fever dream vibe…
