Gaslands Slay Ride Advent(ure) #22: Pump

Q: What do you get if you cross post-apocalyptic autoduel media, Xmas, toy cars and wargaming?

A: Ruined, tiny/huge gas pumps with Santa hats on.

This could be almost anything at this stage…

… I didn’t see that coming…

Petrol pumps are very automotive, and therefore suited to Hot Wheels gift sets, but not very festive… until you put a Xmas hat on one that is about twice as large as a toy car.

No, I don’t get it either.  It is quite pleasing to the eye on the table I think, as it looks like a weird bit of junk before the eye works out what it is supposed to be.

Apocafestivus! Time for feats of strength!

  4. Be fun to see all the individual pieces of terrain pushed up together to form a dumping ground or makeshift barricade your Road Warriors are using to funnel attackers. Your cork bases make these perfect to nestle up together onto other terrain features as purely cosmetic icons, transforming a crater into a Gaslands crater.

    • Weirdly enough I had not considered the possibility of using the terrain pieces as a barricade: a wood for the (Xmas) trees moment.
My Gaslands terrain has taken on a specific tone after this project, which is quite fun. I may push it a little further as time goes on.

By the time that I replied to this, you had seen the group shot in the Xmas Bonus Santa Claus post, so I will pick that up there.
